Imagine all the people... (NYC day 5)

English: ... Living life in peace... Since we love The Beatles we just had to go to the Dakota and Strawberry Fields at Central Park -the John Lennon memorial-. So that was the first thing we did when we left the hostel. You can't get into the Dakota, it's not a museum or anything like it, just a bunch of over priced apartments -honestly, the thought of bumping into Lennon ghost crepes me out. That's why I wouldn't live there-. Strawberry Fields, on the other hand, it's indescribable. You get there and everybody is whispering, it's like the place was mourning... Even so, it's not weird... It's just indescribable.

Español: ... Living life in peace...

English: After a while of peace, we walk around Central Park and we headed to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). This museum, well it's filled with modern art -duh! LOL-. No really, they have amazing and interesting exhibitions. From famous painting to awesome sculptures. Monet, Van Gogh, Warhol... Are some of the name you'll see in this museum.

No mentira, tienen unas exhibiciones bastante interesantes. Desde pinturas famosas hasta esculturas espectaculares. Monet, Van Gogh, Warhol...

I don't know why, I love this picture // No se por qué amo esta foto
English: When we got out of there, we went to eat to Chinatown and as in Koreatown we had a mission: live the experience of buying a purse's clon -sadly, we didn't make it-. What we did was eat until we dropped, got a massage and walk around Chinatown.

English: We kind of shuffle around Chinatown because we were looking for a temple that we didn't find, so when we gave up we got carried away until we bump into Little Italy. We were surrounded by all kinds of italians restaurants and waiters overwhelming the people that were passing around. We decided to go into a small place to eat gelatto and have a Peroni, we were in Italy after all.

We kept walking until we bumped into NoLita where we also had a mission: go to SUPRA, a shoe brand that has only two stores in the world -NYC and Paris-. We found the store but not the shoes that Rick wanted. So we continued our way to SoHo, we didn't have any mission here but to see the architecture, the streets and walk around hipsters LOL. When we were done -and incredibly tired-, we went back to the hostel to get ready for the days we had left in the city.

See you around. XO,
M.

Besos,
M.
