The Empire State Building... and more (NYC day 4)

English: If you thought the day before we did a lot of stuff, you're about to be amazed because this day we did twice as much. We started with style, at the observation deck that;s in the 86th floor of the Empire State Building -where once again we used the NYCPass to ay for the tickets- We stayed there a while enjoying the views of Manhattan.

Español: Si creían que los días anteriores hicimos muchas cosas, este día hicimos el doble. Empezamos el día por todo lo alto, en la plataforma de observación del piso 86 Empire State Building -una vez más, usamos el NYCPass para pagar los tickets-. Ahí estuvimos un buen rato disfrutando las vistas de Manhattan.

English: After that, we walk through the 5th Av to the weirdest museum I've ever been: Museum of Sex. I'm not gonna say anything about this museum but the exhibitions  are really weird, so there's the link so you can find out for yourselves and we got there because it was on the booklet of the NYCPass

Español: De ahí, caminamos por la 5ta Avenida hasta el museo más bizarro que haya visto en mi vida: Museum of Sex. De este museo no diré nada, solo que las exhibiciones son MUY bizarras -obviamente no aptas para menores de edad- así que ahí está el link para que lo descubran por ustedes mismos y que llegamos ahí porque aparecía en el pequeño libro de atracciones que incluía el NYCPass.

English: Since it was noon, we got out of there and walk to Koreatown, where we had a mission: eat. Is not as massive as Chinatown but is quiet impressive. I think the most impressive of all is the amount of korean restaurants and they all offer korean barbeque, that we didn't eat but everybody says it's amazing. We ate in one of the many restaurants that are there and honestly I cant't remember waht we ate but it was AWESOME. Food was really, really awesome. To eat in Koreatown is a MUST if you're going to NYC.

Español: Como era medio día, salimos de ahí y caminamos hacia Koreatown -el Barrio Koreano- donde teníamos una misión: comer. No se compara con lo masivo que es Chinatown -el Barrio Chino- pero igual es impresionante. Creo que lo más impresionante de todo es la cantidad de restaurantes koreanos que hay y todos ofrecen la especialidad: parrilla koreana, que nosotros no comimos pero es super recomendada. Comimos en uno de los restaurantes que están ahí y sinceramente no me acuerdo qué pedimos de comer pero estaba BRUTAL. La comida estaba demasiado, demasiado buena. Comer en Koreatown es un MUST si van a NYC.

English: I don't know, we got up of the table and we atarte our journey through Park Av to Grand Central Terminal -yes, it's Terminal, not Station as everyone believe-. I think it's 8 blocks from Koreatown, but it's worth the walk -if your feet aren't killing you-. The NYCPass includes and audio guide which includes the most important facts of the station. It's massive, and there's everything you can imagine. From little shops, to a huge food court -where we ate dessert-.

Español: No se cómo, nos levantamos de la mesa y emprendimos nuestro camino por la Avenida Park hacia Grand Central Terminal -sí, es Terminal, no Station como todo el mundo cree-. Creo que son como 8 cuadras desde Koreatown, pero vale la pena caminar -si no te estás muriendo del dolor de pies-. El NYCPass incluye un audio guía que incluye los datos más importantes de la estación. Además que es gigante, tienen todo lo que se puedan imaginar dentro. Desde pequeños locales, hasta una feria inmensa de comida -donde nosotros comimos el postre-.

English: After we finished the self guided tour, we walked towards the Saint Patrick's Cathedral, where we were amazed by the architecture. Sadly we couldn't see it all because some restorations they're doing.

Español: Después de terminar el tour auto guiado -y devolver las audio guías-, salimos hacia la Catedral de San Patricio, donde nos maravillamos con la arquitectura. Lamentablemente, no pudimos verla en todo su esplendor porque estaban haciendo algunas reparaciones y remodelaciones.

English: Where to now? Since the sun was going down, and we were near, we decided to walk to Times Square. Where the massive screens where illuminating all the streets, the stores, the people... Times Square is a place to run, not as a sport, but to rush. Everyone is in a rush and minding their own business, and of course to visit the GIANT stores that are there. Forever 21 has 4 flights, not 1 nor 2, but FOUR and the Toys R' Us has a massive Wheel of Fortune inside. It's also place to shop after midnight because the stores are open until 2 am -just in case you were wondering why it's called the city that never sleeps-.

Español: Al salir de ahí, como ya estaba anocheciendo, decidimos caminar hasta Times Square. Donde las pantallas gigantes estaban iluminando toda la calle, las tiendas, la gente... Times Square es un lugar para correr, pero no correr como deporte, sino más bien de apurarse. Todo el mundo está apurado y concentrado en sus cosas. Ah y para visitar las GIGANTES tiendas que hay. El Forever 21 es de 4 pisos, no 1 ni 2, CUATRO y el Toys R' Us tiene una rueda de la fortuna gigante dentro de la tienda... También es un lugar para hacer compras después de la medianoche porque las tiendas abren como hasta las 2 am -por si acaso se preguntaban por qué la llaman la ciudad que nunca duerme-.

English: We didn't stayed that late because we were so tired. So we took the subway to go back to the hostel to rest for the next day.
